About the author

The author's full name is Farhana @ Farah Hana Hamzah- the second name was contributed by the indecisiveness of the author's father and grandfather in naming her. Farhana was born on January 25th, 1984 in Kuala Lumpur. Farhana was raised by her grandparents in Malacca until the age of 4 and then shipped off to KL to stay with her parents and brother, Amir Hamzah.

Farhana's brother, Amir is 2 years older and was born on the 21st of June 1982, the same exact date as Prince William. Growing up, Farhana and Amir were dubbed as twins since they were identical. Farhana and Amir went to SKTTDI(1) until Standard 6 (equivalent of Primary 8?). Farhana was a not a straight-A student like Amir. Nor was she the Sportsgirl of the year. However, she was above average in both fields.

Farhana went to three secondary schools, with SKTSH for her Form 1 &2 studies. That would be the Malaysian version of "90210", Sri Hartamas. In Form 3, she adjourned her studies in Sekolah Sri Bestari, Bandar Sri Damansara. In Form 4 & 5, Farhana moved to Sekolah Sri Cempaka in Damansara Heights.

In 2002, Farhana underwent Scottish Highers in Aberdeen College, Scotland. There, she made plenty of new friends and became one of the top students. Not because education system in Scotland was weak, it was because to improved time-management on her side.

Farhana did her degree in Business Administration in University of East London, based in HELP University College, KL. Farhana discovered a lot of new things while studying there. This would include adult-friendship, the Malay drama, cars, poker and etc.

Currently, Farhana is working with TA Research at TA Securities as a Financial Analyst.
